PROGRAM OVERVIEW

About This Program

The CSAC program is a 240-hour training program designed to meet the educational requirements for Substance Abuse Counselor certification in Virginia.

The program covers all 13 required content areas and prepares students for application and examination through the Virginia Board of Counseling.

The CSAC-A program is a 120-hour entry-level certification pathway designed to meet Virginia’s educational requirements for Substance Abuse Counselor Assistants.

The program provides foundational knowledge and prepares students for supervised practice and advancement toward CSAC certification.

The PRS Educational Training program is a 6-month structured pathway designed to develop peer recovery support skills through guided online learning and weekly virtual sessions.

The program focuses on communication, recovery principles, crisis support, documentation, and professional development for individuals pursuing peer support roles.

The RBT Educational Training program is a 40-hour structured course designed to introduce learners to applied behavior analysis, data collection, and behavior intervention strategies.

This program provides foundational knowledge in ABA principles, service delivery, documentation, and ethics to support behavior technician training pathways.

Certification & Credential Pathway (Virginia)

Millennium Training provides structured educational programs designed to support professional development across multiple training pathways, including substance abuse counseling, peer recovery support, and behavior technician training.

Each program is developed to align with applicable educational standards and prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for their respective certification or career pathway.

Completion of our programs supports students in preparing for certification application, supervised practice, or advancement within their field. Final credential approval and issuance are determined by the appropriate regulatory or certifying body.

Credentialing decisions are made by the Virginia Board of Counseling.

Each domain includes a minimum of 16 instructional hours (CSAC 240 total hours) and 8 instructional hours (CSAC-A 120 total hours) .
