Entry Requirements
Meeting minimum entry requirements does not guarantee admission. Applications are reviewed individually.
- To enroll in the CSAC-A program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Education Requirement
- Hold a high school diploma, GED, or post-secondary degree.
- Program Requirements
- Complete 120 clock hours of didactic substance abuse education, aligned with Virginia regulatory standards.
- Training Content
- The program covers the same 13 required content areas as the CSAC program, delivered at an introductory level with a minimum of 8 clock hours per domain, including:
- Substance abuse foundations
- Counseling techniques
- Ethics and professional practice
- Cultural competency
- Trauma, pharmacology, relapse prevention, assessment, and treatment planning
- Important Clarification
- Millennium Training provides educational coursework leading to a Certificate of Completion.
- CSAC-A certification and credential approval are issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia, not Millennium Training.
- To enroll in the CSAC program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Education Requirement
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or post-baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
- Program Requirements
- Complete 240 clock hours of didactic substance abuse education, aligned with Virginia regulatory standards.
- A minimum of 120 hours must be completed prior to registration of supervision, as required by the Virginia Board of Counseling.
- Training Content
- The program includes 13 required domains, with a minimum of 16 clock hours in each domain, covering:
- Human behavior
- Substance use disorders
- Counseling theories and techniques
- Ethics and professional practice
- Trauma, pharmacology, relapse prevention, assessment, and treatment planning
- Important Clarification
- Millennium Training provides educational coursework leading to a Certificate of Completion.
- State certification and credential approval are granted by the Commonwealth of Virginia, not Millennium Training.
- To enroll in the PRS program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Education Requirement
- Hold a high school diploma, GED, or post-secondary degree.
- Program Requirements
- Complete 72 hours of peer recovery specialist training delivered through a 6-month structured program.
- Participate in weekly virtual sessions and complete assigned learning activities.
- Training Content
- The program focuses on peer recovery specialist foundations and support skills, including:
- Peer support principles
- Communication and relationship skills
- Recovery-oriented practice
- Crisis support and documentation
- Professional development and certification preparation
- Important Clarification
- Millennium Training provides educational coursework leading to a Certificate of Completion.
- PRS credentialing or approval, where applicable, is determined by the appropriate certifying or regulatory body, not Millennium Training.
- To enroll in the RBT program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Education Requirement
- No prior degree is required.
- Program Requirements
- Complete 40 hours of structured behavior technician training.
- Participate in online modules and complete required learning activities and assessments.
- Training Content
- The program provides foundational behavior technician training, including:
- Applied behavior analysis (ABA) foundations
- Data collection and graphing
- Behavior assessment support
- Behavior intervention strategies
- Ethics and professional practice

- Millennium Training provides educational coursework leading to a Certificate of Completion.
- RBT credentialing or approval, where applicable, is determined by the appropriate certifying or regulatory body, not Millennium Training.
