PROGRAM OVERVIEW
About This Program
The CSAC program is a 240-hour training program designed to meet the educational requirements for Substance Abuse Counselor certification in Virginia.
The program covers all 13 required content areas and prepares students for application and examination through the Virginia Board of Counseling.
The CSAC-A program is a 120-hour entry-level certification pathway designed to meet Virginia’s educational requirements for Substance Abuse Counselor Assistants.
The program provides foundational knowledge and prepares students for supervised practice and advancement toward CSAC certification.
Certification & Credential Pathway (Virginia)
Millennium Training provides the educational components leading to a Certificate of Completion aligned with Virginia’s didactic training requirements for CSAC (240 hours) and CSAC-A (120 hours).
Completion of our program helps prepare students to apply for certification and sit for the required examination through the Virginia Board of Counseling (Virginia Department of Health Professions). Millennium Training does not issue state certification; certification approval and credential issuance are completed by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Credentialing decisions are made by the Virginia Board of Counseling.
