CSAC
The Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) program is a 240-hour training program that prepares individuals for a career in substance abuse counseling.
General Requirements
- Bachelor's or post-baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
- Strong interest in helping individuals with substance use and co-occuring disorders
- Commitment to completing all courses in a timely manner
Meeting the minimum requirements does not mean acceptance. All applications are subject to review by the admissions team.
Additional information
Successful completion of the program leads to a Certificate of Completion from Millennium Training.
Certification / credential approval is issued by the Virginia Board of Counseling
CSAC - A
The CSAC – A program is a 120-hour training program aligned with Virginia regulatory standards.
General Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong interest in helping individuals with substance use and co-occuring disorders
- Commitment to completing all course requirements in a timely manner
- Basic computer and internet skills
Additional Information
Millennium Training provides the required educational coursework and issues a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of the program.
Professional certification and credential approval are issued by the appropriate regulatory or certifying body (such as the Commonwealth of Virginia) and are not granted by Millennium Training.
Peer Recovery Specialist
The Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) program is a 6-month training program that prepares individuals to support other on their recovery journey.
General Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Personal experience with recovery preferred
- Interest in helping others in recovery
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Commitment to completing all course requirements in a timely manner

Registered Behavior Technician
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a 40-hour training program prepares individuals to work under the super vision of BCBA.

- Interest in working with individuals with autism and behavioral needs
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Commitment to completing all course requirements in a timely manner
